FACT

A thing that is known or proved to be true.

BELIEF

VS

An acceptance that something exists or is true, especially one without proof.

Synonyms: Reality, Actuality, Factuality

Synonyms: Guess, Speculate, Fancy

A fact is a fact whether you believe it or not. A belief is a fantasy.

People sprout pseudo wisdoms such as "you have to believe in something". This would only be true if reality didn't exist.

A mind that prefers to ignore reality and replace it with belief is an irrational mind ravished with fear and is destined for misery and to cause misery in others.

You may belief that this knife is sharp but once it cuts you it is no longer a belief but a fact. The former is based on guesswork, the latter is based on actuality.

Some people are deluded by thinking that they believe in facts. As this is a contradiction in terms and a form of insanity.
